Shoreline Patrol is a highly motivated security company with a team of committed Security Officers that was established on August 2, 2024. Although we are a young company, what we lack in years we make up for in over a combined 20 years of professional security experience. Since opening, our goal has been to provide exemplary security services that are tailored to each of our clients unique needs. We aim to accomplish this goal by using our combined security experience to find the best solution for you. This means, we will always be involved and always ready to support your next need.

Chance Guthrie 

CO FOUNDER/ CEO

Chance Guthrie is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shoreline Patrol, a California-licensed private patrol operator serving Orange County, Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County, and Riverside County. With over a decade of hands-on experience in private security operations, patrol services, and client relations, Chance has built Shoreline Patrol on a foundation of accountability, visibility, and proactive crime deterrence.

Throughout his career, Chance has specialized in mobile patrol operations, HOA and commercial property security, construction site protection, and high-visibility enforcement strategies designed to prevent issues before they escalate. His leadership style is rooted in operational structure—implementing GPS-verified patrol tracking, real-time digital reporting systems, body-camera accountability, and layered field supervision to ensure clients receive transparent, professional service.

As CEO, Chance oversees company growth, vendor partnerships, municipal RFP submissions, and long-term strategic development. He has played a direct role in expanding Shoreline Patrol’s footprint across Southern California while maintaining strong relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial developers, and local businesses.

Known for his proactive approach and detail-oriented mindset, Chance focuses on building systems that protect both clients and officers—emphasizing compliance, training, and measurable results. His commitment to professionalism, innovation, and community safety continues to drive Shoreline Patrol’s reputation as a reliable and forward-thinking security provider.

Jesus Jauregui 

CO FOUNDER/ CEO

Jesus Jauregui brings over a decade of professional security experience to Shoreline Patrol. Having attended the Police Academy, he combines formal law enforcement training with extensive real-world security expertise to deliver reliable and effective services.

Over the past 10+ years, Jesus has held multiple leadership and supervisory roles, overseeing operations, mentoring officers, and maintaining strong client relationships. His hands-on experience in patrol operations, incident response, and team management has earned him a reputation as a dependable and disciplined leader.

At Shoreline Patrol, Jesus ensures the patrol division operates with professionalism, accountability, and precision. His leadership, dedication, and commitment to safety reflect the high standards our clients expect and deserve.

JESUS ARMENTA

Jesus Armenta brings over 10 years of experience in security operations, fugitive recovery, and investigative work. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong reputation for professionalism, tactical awareness, and sound judgment in high-pressure environments. His background includes hands-on field operations, risk assessment, incident response, and detailed investigative support across a wide range of residential and commercial assignments.

Highly trained in de-escalation techniques, Jesus specializes in resolving conflicts safely and effectively while minimizing risk to clients, the public, and team members. His calm, composed approach in tense situations has proven invaluable in maintaining order and protecting property.

In addition to field operations, Jesus plays an integral role in officer development and client relations. He assists with training programs focused on professionalism, report writing, use-of-force standards, and customer service, ensuring officers meet both company expectations and client needs. His leadership, mentorship, and commitment to high standards strengthen operational performance and foster long-term client partnerships.
